CASEWORK & COUNSELING
Crisis Intervention & Outreach: 475-7100
Sanctuary provides a 24-hour community response and crisis intervention service to youth and families. We offer mediation and supportive counseling to diffuse conflicts. Our philosophy is to encourage family involvement to improve a healthy home life.
In addition to crisis and intervention services, we offer educational presentation in the community. Please call 475.7101 to see which presentation is right for your target audience.
Case Management Services
In the event a youth must seek refuge in the Co-Ed Emergency shelter or Transitional Living Program (TLP), case managers are available for either short or long term stays. This includes planning a path towards reunification with the family or taking steps that encourage independence. The case managers work closely with clients to ensure the most optimal route is taken.
AfterCare Program
When our clients exit our shelters, Sanctuary offers additional aftercare service to monitor the first few months of reunification or independence. This time period is crucial in establishing long-term success where the youth may need additional support or encouragement. Case managers may visit the youth once a week to do follow-up progress reports in school, relationship with family and any other difficulties they may encounter during their transition.
