Drug and Alcohol (Na'Homlo) Group

Type:     Open, Support/Process Group

Ages:     12-18 years old

Length:   1 hour/10 week cycle/every Thursday 4:30-5:30PM

Location:  Conference Room 2 - Sanctuary, Incorporated

Na'Homlo (healing or "to heal" in Chamorro) group facilitators discuss the negative effects and consequences of using drugs and/or alcohol.  The facilitators focus on getting group participants to understand how often, with whom and why they utilize these substances.  In addition, they process with the young people and impress upon them the personal consequences of their drug and alcohol use.
