Street Outreach Program

The Street Outreach Program (S.O.P) is a program which seeks out and assists youth who are unable to have access to a safe and stable housing environment or whom are simply homeless.

This program focuses on teenagers who are runaway, homeless or street bound; who are not provided basic needs such as food, shelter, clothing and a safe environment needed to foster healthy development.

The program aims to increase the number of runaway homeless or street youth between the ages of 12 to 21 that relocate from streets to stable housing. Its goal is to assist youth without long-term dependence on social services in becoming independent, self-sufficient and contributing members of society. In addition, SOP will assist youth with reunification and reconciliation with family when appropriate.

The Street Outreach Program assists youth between the critical ages of 12 and 21, victims of domestic violence, family conflict, abuse and/or displacement or those who are moving house to house
on daily basis, or living in places other than shelters.
