This group utilizes the Minnesota Smoking Prevention Program as a guide to discourage tobacco use among adolescents.  The curriculum is designed to influence the social and psychological factors that encourage the onset of smoking cigarettes or using smokeless tobacco.  In addition to tobacco use, the facilitator also encourages members to deal with peer pressure and make appropriate decisions to abstain from alcohol and drug use.
